Abstract: 

This paper examines in detail the little-known Friday Mosque (masjid-i jāmi‘) of Firdaus, located southwest of the Khurasan, which has had a key role in developing Saljuq architecture in the area. The original scheme of the mosque was unclear. The lofty īwān and two flanking dome chambers on the west (qibla) side of the courtyard are the central core of the mosque. The main aim of the article is to analyse the architecture of the mosque and demonstrate its association with the architectural style of the Saljuq mosque in the Khurasan area.  During the conservation and restoration measures in 2006, some fresh materials were unearthed. The new findings shed light on the original features of the mosque and revealed its formation. The paper describes the city's history, defines its architectural characteristics, and then analyses the present information for replying to the research questions. Owing to the outcomes of the archaeological investigation, the study suggests the general scheme of the mosque as a further example of the two- īwān mosque, which may be dated to the late years of the 6th /12th century. Despite the importance of the mosque, no lengthy study has been published about the building. The accurate drawing of the plan and sections of this monument, with the proposal scheme for the reconstruction of the mosque, are being published in this paper for the first time.

Abstract: 

In the present work, by applying known Bernstein polynomials and their advantageous properties, we establish an efficient iterative algorithm to approximate the numerical solution of fuzzy Fredholm integral equations of the second kind. The convergence of the proposed method is given and the numerical examples illustrate that the proposed iterative algorithm are valid.

Abstract: 

In the present article we discuss approximation properties of genuine Lupa s-Beta operators of integral type. We establish quantitative asymptotic formulae and a direct estimate in terms of Ditzian-Totik MODULUS of CONTINUITY. Finally we mention results on the weighted MODULUS of CONTINUITY for the genuine operators.

Abstract: 

Locally compact Hausdorff spaces and their one-point compactifications are much used in topology and analysis; in lattice and domain theory, the notion of CONTINUITY captures the idea of local compactness. Our work is located in the setting of pointfree topology, where lattice-theoretic methods can be used to obtain topological results. Specifically, we examine here the concept of CONTINUITY for PARTIAL frames, and compactifications of regular continuous such.PARTIAL frames are meet-semilattices in which not all subsets need have joins. A distinguishing feature of their study is that a small collection of axioms of an elementary nature allows one to do much that is traditional for frames or locales. The axioms are sufficiently general to include as examples s-frames, k-frames and frames.In this paper, we present the notion of a continuous PARTIAL frame by means of a suitable “way-below” relation; in the regular case this relation can be characterized using separating elements, thus avoiding any use of pseudocomplements (which need not exist in a PARTIAL frame). Our first main result is an explicit construction of a one-point compactification for a regular continuous PARTIAL frame using generators and relations. We use strong inclusions to link CONTINUITY and one-point compactifications to least compactifications.As an application, we show that a one-point compactification of a zero-dimensional continuous PARTIAL frame is again zero-dimensional.We next consider arbitrary compactifications of regular continuous PARTIAL frames. In full frames, the natural tools to use are right and left adjoints of frame maps; in PARTIAL frames these are, in general, not available. This necessitates significantly different techniques to obtain largest and smallest elements of fibres (which we call balloons); these elements are then used to investigate the structure of the compactifications. We note that strongly regular ideals play an important role here. The paper concludes with a proof of the uniqueness of the one-point compactification.

Abstract: 

In this paper we provide new several Jackson-type approximations results for continuous fuzzy-number-valued functions which improve several previous ones. We use alternative techniques adapted from Interval Analysis which rely on the gH-difference (which might not exist) and the generalized difference (which might lack the cancellation law ) of fuzzy numbers.

Abstract: 

In this paper we construct the Stancu type q-Kantrovich-Sz asz-Mirakjan operators generated by Dunkl generalization of the ex-ponential function. We obtain some approximation results using the Korovkin approximation theorem and the weighted Korovkin-type the-orem for these operators. We also study convergence properties by using the MODULUS of CONTINUITY and the rate of convergence for functions be-longing to the Lipschitz class. Furthermore, we obtain the rate of con-vergence in terms of the classical, the second order, and the weighted MODULUS of CONTINUITY.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this paper is to study the bivariate extension of the generalized Baskakov-Kantorovich operators and obtain results on the degree of approximation, Voronovskaja type theorems and their first order derivatives in polynomial weighted spaces. Furthermore, we illustrate the convergence of the bivariate operators to a certain function through graphics using Matlab algorithm. We also discuss the comparison of the convergence of the bivariate generalized Baskakov Kantorovich operators and the bivariate Sz\'{a}sz-Kantorovich operators to the function through illustrations using Matlab.

Abstract: 

Facilities built in areas affected by earthquake activity, such as tunnels, which have always been an integral part of human life, must withstand both dynamic and static loading. It has led to the need for practical studies on the effects of earthquakes on underground structures and the factors affecting their destruction. For this purpose, in this research, at first different patterns of tunnel’s excavation were investigated and by using Plaxis 2D software and based on Tabas earthquake in Iran, sensitivity analysis on geotechnical parameters of the soil surrounding tunnel such as cohesion, friction angle, unit weight and MODULUS of elasticity was carried out, and the parameters whose changes have the greatest and least effects on the bending moment changes on the tunnel lining are introduced. The results show that tunnel excavation patterns significantly affect the bending moment, axial forces, displacements, and surface settlement of the tunnel. Often, by dividing tunnel excavation area to small parts, the values of bending moment, axial forces, displacements, and surface settlement of the tunnel decreases in static analysis. Also, outputs of sensitivity analysis on geotechnical parameters of the soil surrounding tunnel showed that MODULUS of elasticity of the soil surrounding tunnel has the most effect and cohesion changes have the least effect on bending moment induced on tunnel lining..

Abstract: 

In some point of view, neither Michel Foucault nor Ibn Khaldun are considered philosophers in the conventional classifications, but both are very  important in intellectual and, of course, in philosophical contexts, especially for those who are interested in the deep study of human life from the perspective of political thought.The main concern of two thinkers, one in the 14th century, the other in the 20th century, is the issue  of power, although neither of them provided a precise definition of it. In this article, an attempt has been made to show the place of power and domination in the political thought of both thinkers by examining the thoughts of two thinkers. And in search of an answer to this question, how did Asabiyyah and industry of religion in Ibn Khaldun's thought and social control through self-technology and discipline in Foucault's thought lead to the expansion of the domination of power? This article is written by analytically comparing the opinions of two thinkers based on Ibn Khaldun's most important book called Muqaddimah and Foucault's late works
